Genus Diaphorodoris 5 species
Diaphorodoris Iredale & O'Donoghue, 1923 is a small dorid genus in the family Calycidorididae, distributed across the north-eastern Atlantic, Mediterranean and north-western Pacific. Body length 3–10 mm. The mantle is oval and densely covered with fine papillae; the body is white to translucent white, usually with a vivid yellow or orange band along the mantle margin and a red dorsal patch. The genus was originally placed in Onchidorididae and transferred to Calycidorididae following the molecular phylogeny of Hallas & Gosliner (2015).
