• Featuring on this site's official social media accounts (X / Facebook / Instagram / BlueSky / Threads, etc.)
• Provision of observation record metadata to scientific databases (BISMaL / OBIS); see above for details

We do not use submitted photos for other purposes (transfer to third parties, commercial resale, provision as AI training data, etc.) without explicit, per-case consent from the contributor.

Data we store

• We ask for and store an email address when users register.
• This data is used only for service delivery and contact with the user.
• Registered users can view, edit, and delete their registration information from My Page after login.

Payment processing

Payments for paid services on this site (the monthly Premium membership and one-time tips) are securely processed through Stripe (Stripe Payments Japan Ltd.).

• Card numbers and other payment details are processed and stored by Stripe and are never stored on this site's servers.
• For payment and subscription management, this site retains your email address and the customer and subscription identifiers issued by Stripe. These are used solely to manage billing and contract status and to provide membership benefits.
