Genus Syphonota 1 species

Syphonota H. Adams & A. Adams, 1854 is a monotypic sea hare genus in the family Aplysiidae, containing only Syphonota geographica. It is distributed across the Mediterranean, Atlantic, Indian Ocean and western Pacific, inhabiting seagrass beds and feeding on seagrasses such as Cymodocea and Halophila. Body color and pattern show strong geographic variation.
