Genus Unidentia 9 species
Unidentia Millen & Hermosillo, 2012 is a genus of slender, small aeolids in the family Unidentiidae Millen & Hermosillo, 2012, distributed from the western to the eastern Pacific with more than ten described species. Body length 4–20 mm. Diagnostic characters include smooth rhinophores of about the same length as the oral tentacles, slender cerata arranged in single rows along the dorsum, long propodial tentacles, and an acleioproctic anal opening positioned between the ceratal rows. The generic name combines Latin uni (one) and dentis (tooth), referring to the uniseriate radula.
