Description

Ground colour blue-green. The dorsum bears black markings unique to this species. Numerous tubercle-like processes cover the dorsum, with white tips. Rhinophores translucent cream. Gills the same colour as the body. Reaches 18 mm in length.

Distribution

Known from Papua New Guinea and Indonesia.

Remarks

Aldisa is a genus of small dorids characterised by distinctive dorsal tubercles and colour patterns. Elwood, Valdés & a 2000 paper carried out a global taxonomic revision of the genus, in which the present species was described.
