Description

A small aeolid nudibranch reaching about 10 mm in length. The body is translucent white, with a network of fine white lines on the head. The cerata are also translucent white with scattered fine white lines and dots. The rhinophores carry lamellae only on the posterior side and are white. The oral tentacles are smooth, translucent white, dotted with fine white spots.

Distribution

Originally described from material taken in Madagascar and western Mexico. Subsequently recorded from Tanzania, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Japan, and Guam, indicating a broad Indo-West Pacific distribution.

Etymology

The specific epithet isa is not explicitly explained in the original description but appears to be a personal-name dedication.
