Description
A small sacoglossan under 10 mm in body length. The body is translucent with a bluish-green tinge, with closely-set short papillae along the dorsum and sides.Notes
Indo-Pacific specimens are treated as "Ercolania cf. coerulea" by Gosliner, Valdés & Behrens (2018, Nudibranch and Sea Slug Identification: Indo-Pacific, 2nd Edition), in reference to the Mediterranean type species Ercolania coerulea Trinchese, 1892. This site follows that designation.Distribution
