Description

Ground colour pink, with large white blotches on the dorsolateral body that are often outlined by a thin reddish-brown line. The mantle margin bears pale yellow spots that align with the saw-tooth-like papillae. The anteriormost papillae have translucent yellow tips on a pale yellow base; the lowermost papillae and those around the gills have yellow tips on pink bases. Rhinophores are coloured like the reddish-brown dorsal lines, sometimes with a bright yellow band. Most marginal papillae are yellowish.

Distribution

Indonesia, Singapore and Philippines.

Etymology

From Latin vitiligo (loss of skin pigment).

Remarks

Described by Paz-a 2024 revision. Specimens previously figured on this site as Okenia liklik are now referred to this species.
