Description

Body elongate, slightly raised, with a very narrow posterior. The dorsum bears elongate flat-topped papillae, each carrying a single ring of orange roughly halfway along its length. Ground color pale yellowish white to creamy yellow; the papillae are a deeper yellow. The rhinophores match the papillae; gill leaves are pale yellow. A small species, about 10 mm in length.

Distribution

Papua New Guinea (type locality), South Africa and eastern Australia.

Etymology

The specific epithet lemoncello derives from the Italian liqueur of the same colour as some specimens of this species.

Remarks

Family Aegiridae.
