Description
Mantle white to pale grey with a fine violet rim along the outer margin. Rhinophores white at the base and violet at the tip. Gill leaves white to pale grey, with violet rachides.Distribution
Western Indian Ocean: north-eastern South Africa, Réunion, Mauritius, India and Tanzania. The type locality is Zanzibar.Remarks
Originally described as Chromodoris cavae Eliot, 1904 in "On some nudibranchs from East Africa and Zanzibar, part IV" (Proc. Zool. Soc. Lond.). Transferred to Goniobranchus by Johnson & a 2012 paper.References
