Description
A small dorid (about 20 mm) of the genus Jorunna, the dorsum covered with caryophyllidia that give a rough, shark-skin-like texture. The body is yellowish-white to pale brown, varying with the host sponge, with an irregular white reticulate pattern on the back. The rhinophores and gill are slightly darker than the body colour.Distribution
Coastal waters of Japan.Remarks
An undescribed species of Discodorididae that lives on the sponge Callyspongia confoederata. It closely resembles Jorunna hervei but is reliably separated by host sponge (J. hervei uses a different sponge), egg-mass shape, and COI.References
