Description

A medium-sized dorid, up to 3 cm long and 2.3 cm wide. The body is oval and depressed, with the central dorsum rising prominently above the broad mantle skirt. The ground colour is pale yellowish-white, the dorsum (especially around its central area) mottled with light brownish-grey cloud-like markings. Along the mantle skirt, particularly near its margin, similar diffuse patches show through to the underside; smaller spots of the same colour appear on the underside of the skirt, the dorsal surface of the foot, and the foot sole. Rhinophore tips are yellowish, the stalks the same brownish-grey; the gill is yellowish. The whole dorsum is densely covered with small whitish tubercles with a few larger ones interspersed. The gill consists of one median and on each side two lateral bipinnate plumes, the hindmost deeply bifurcate. Oral tentacles small, flattened and pointed.
