Description

Ground color translucent whitish. Brown and translucent-white tubercles are scattered across the central dorsum, becoming smaller toward the periphery and disappearing at the margin. Some of the central brown tubercles are encircled by a yellow ring, giving an "eye" appearance. Rhinophores translucent white with brownish tips; gill translucent white.

Distribution

Tropical Indo-West Pacific.

Etymology

From Filipino (Tagalog) estrelyado, meaning a sunny-side-up egg or "starred".

Remarks

Family Discodorididae. Originally placed in Hoplodoris.
