Description
Dorsum translucent to pure white, with an opaque whiter sub-marginal band running just inside the mantle edge. The outermost mantle margin carries a thin pale-gold line. Rhinophores tinged pale gold on a translucent white axis. The gill comprises six to seven leaves, with translucent white rachides and pale-gold lines along the pinnae. A medium-sized chromodorid, with the flexible mantle edge typical of the genus.Distribution
Centred on the central Pacific (Hawaiian Islands, type locality), with subsequent records from the western Pacific.Etymology
Named in honour of Scott Johnson, a Hawaii-based sea slug observer.Remarks
